You might have noticed some of our Readly icons in the menu bar of your Readly app or on the bottom of magazine covers :)
Let us break it down for you:
The Green Check Mark
After a magazine has been opened for at least 60 seconds a small green checkmark will appear.
This will indicate that the magazine has been read, this will help you to keep track of your progress (this feature is not available on go.readly.com).
On each title page there is a star icon located at the top right of your screen. By clicking on it, you are selecting this magazine as one of your favourites and it will appear in the favourites tab (located at the bottom of your screen), which is a shortcut to allow you to find all your favourite magazines.
You can also select favourite magazines directly on the home screen. Press on the plus (+) beside the cover image and an options menu will pop up, then click on 'Add to favourites'.
With Readly, you can bookmark a page to save and come back to and read it whenever you like. Whether it's a recipe you want to save, a how-to guide, or simply a good article.
To bookmark a page, tap the middle of the screen (or right-click if using a web browser). You will find the bookmark icon in the top right-hand corner. After you've bookmarked a page, you will find it in the 'Bookmarks' tab within the "My Content" section.
The Open Magazine
You will find this icon when you open up the menu tab within a magazine. It will allow you to read with a double page layout. You can also select this once more for it to return to a single page view.
The Mobile Phone
Our mobile reading feature enlarges text size with all reading content in one column, making text-heavy articles a lot easier to read on small devices.
How do I use mobile reading?
- Open up the Readly app
- Look for the round yellow icon in the magazine menu (this notes the magazines that are enabled with the enhanced reading feature)
- Open up the magazine and flick through until you find the yellow icon again
- Press on the icon and enjoy!
